In Memorium of Coach Ron Masanek

On Sunday, May 29, 2022 - the Southwest Ohio community lost a loving husband, father, grandfather and Hall of Fame wrestling coach. Former Princeton wrestling coach Ty Robbins said "Words alone can not even explain what he did for the sport of wrestling. He put Southwest wrestling on the map. Every time we faced Fairfield, I would try and pick up something from him to teach my kids. He is not a great coach because he coaches the all-stars, he is a great coach because he takes average wrestling and makes them believe they are better than they really are."

Rest in Peace Coach Masanek. Thank you for all you did for the sport of Wrestling - and thank you for the positive impact you had on the thousands of wrestlers you coached over your Hall of Fame career.
