The GCWOA Scholarship is rooted in the principles of perseverance, respect and ethical conduct that define the sport of wrestling. We celebrate the accomplishments of male and female wrestlers who demonstrate unwavering commitment to their goals, uphold integrity in every aspect of life, and serve as role models in their communities. This scholarship stands as a tribute to the dedicated officials who shaped the sport through their service, ensuring their legacy lives on through the achievements of tomorrow's leaders. 

To apply, please complete and submit the below form. All submissions will be submitted and voted on by the GCWOA Board. Please allow up to 4 weeks after a submission to receive a response and all submissions will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.  Applications are due by January 6, 2025. Recipients will be notified the week of January 19.  

The GCWOA Scholarship will be awarded annually to one male wrestler and one female wrestler in the Southwest Ohio Wrestling Community. Each scholarship is $1000 and will be awarded at the GCWOA Banquet in March.
