GCWOA Scholarship Application

The GCWOA Scholarship is rooted in the principles of perseverance, respect and ethical conduct that define the sport of wrestling. We celebrate the accomplishments of male and female wrestlers who demonstrate unwavering commitment to their goals, uphold integrity in every aspect of life, and serve as role models in their communities. This scholarship stands as a tribute to the dedicated officials who shaped the sport through their service, ensuring their legacy lives on through the achievements of tomorrow's leaders. 

To apply, please complete and submit the below form. All submissions will be submitted and voted on by the GCWOA Board. Please allow up to 4 weeks after a submission to receive a response and all submissions will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.  Applications are due by January 5, 2026. Recipients will be notified the week of January 18.  

The GCWOA Scholarship will be awarded annually to male wrestlers and female wrestlers in the Southwest Ohio Wrestling Community. The GCWOA Scholarship Committee will determine how many scholarships will be awarded each year based on applications. Each scholarship is a minimum of $1000 and will be awarded at the GCWOA Banquet in March.
